Modernity and tradition
The lands of the Di Vaira Family are located in three different areas of the Bolgheri lowlands, the largest is located where the winery, at the foot of the hills dominated by Rocca di Castiglioncello di Bolgheri, about 11 hectares of vineyards lined with olive trees with which we produce our extra virgin olive oil. Another plot is located near the Via Aurelia with 1.5 hectares of vineyards only, while in the third plot in Località Grattamacco we have 1.5 hectares of vineyards not yet in production. All with both white and red grapes production.
Functionality and hospitality
The Cellar has an area of about 2600 m2 divided into three levels. The work of vinification and aging are all carried out on a single level, where we also find the reception to the public with point of sale, air-conditioned room where wine tasting and two outdoor spaces with gardens, one of these overlooking the vineyards. At the lower level, bottles are bottled and stored before the labels are placed, which is done in the structure. On the upper level there is a large terrace where you can admire the lowland and the vineyards embraced by the coline and lulled by the sea wind, which creates a very special microclimate and conducive to production.
